Located on Hangzhou Bay, the new JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai Fengxian marks the 50th Marriott International hotel to open in Shanghai.
JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai Fengxian overlooks the nearby Jianhai Lake, a wetland that connects Huangpu River and the East Sea. The hotel’s style narrative is inspired by its natural surroundings, with its exterior imagined at the legendary bird Roc, from the fable of ‘Roc hopping into sea’. The hotel boasts 265 guestrooms and suites, which offer luxurious comfort and utilise restful shades of sable and blue, echoing the beaches and sea.
The hotel features a variety of dining options including three distinctive restaurants and a bar, which menus feature freshly harvested produce from the hotel’s own onsite garden. The Spa by JW offers spa treatments for guests to calm the mind and invigorate the body whilst a 24-hour fitness centre and a 25 metre heated infinity swimming pool are also present, There’s also fully-equipped conference facilities’ including a 1,800sq m meeting area, a 900sq m grand banquet hall, a smaller 600sq m hall and four multifunction rooms.
