Hong Kong’s upcoming Kai Tak Mall has reached 70 per cent occupancy rate, with the retail precinct confirming some 200 stores are joining the tenant line-up.
Adding to the initial announcement of international brands, notably Adidas, Decathlon and National Geographic, several other sports brands, including Nike, Fila, Asics, Puma, New Era and Skechers have committed to setting up their own retail spaces within Kai Tak Mall, according to developer, K11 Group.
The mall will also introduce both unique and milestone experiential concept stores, including New Balance’s latest UCC retail concept store; OOFOS Recovery Footwear’s first flagship store in Hong Kong; Salomon’s first direct-sale store in Kowloon East; and Li-Ning’s concept store with dedicated basketball and badminton zones within its store.
Slated to open to be completed in the second half of 2024, the 700,000sq ft Kai Tak Mall comprises three main towers, reaching five floors in height, which are connected by a 700m-long Sports Avenue that integrates the retail complex with the surrounding parkland.
