The first KFC outlet will open in Brussels in the spring and ultimately KFC wishes to open 150 outlets in Belgium.
Hans Wingender, Senior Development Leader for KFC in Northern Europe, stated, “We will start first with Brussels in 2019. Then we will open new restaurants in the entire country, in the various city centres and in restaurants that are also equipped with a “drive-in”. We will see how the Belgians take to our brand. The consumer is changing, dietary habits are evolving. All of these factors will influence our location choice, and the speed at which outlets are opened in Belgium.”
