The women’s fashion firm La Comet advances in the expansion of its commercial network with the opening of a new store in Barcelona. Located at number 110 of Rambla Catalunya, it is the brand’s 11th establishment.
The brand concentrates its commercial network in and around Barcelona, although it also has stores in towns close to the Catalan capital, such as Sitges. In parallel to its physical points of sale, the firm also distributes its designs through the online channel, which registers a large volume of business in European markets.
Founded in 2018 by Edgar Llopart and Carolina Agustín, La Comet began its journey as The Closet: the smallest store in Barcelona, alluding to its first establishment, which consisted of only eight square meters. In subsequent years, it stepped on the accelerator of its development in retail, especially in 2020, when it added five openings.
Although the firm initially focused its catalogue on costume jewellery and accessories, it soon opened its offer to clothing, its main product category today.
