Lacoste Expands in Argentina

During the first quarter of this year, it landed in four new locations within the country and presented a coffee pop-up proposal together with the renowned pastry chef Damián Betular.

Among the openings, the first was during the month of April at Ribera Shopping in the city of Santa Fe, with a 101sq m store. It was followed in May by the inauguration at Alcorta Shopping in the city of Buenos Aires, with a 157sq m store.

The next two openings were during the month of June. The first was in the Alto Noa shopping centre in the city of Salta, where the French firm opted for a 126sq m store, with 105sq m of sales area and a 142sq m store launched in the province of Catamarca.

“In Argentina, we are in the process of taking the brand to the whole country. It began a few years ago in the main squares and is currently reaching all the provinces, so that consumers in the interior can also live the shopping experience in person, since many of these squares only accessed the brand through our digital flagship,” Jonathan Calvi, Regional Sales Manager Southam explained to FashionNetwork.com.
