The company’s latest brand, Ying’nFlo, has launched with an upper midscale hotel in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
Ying’nFlo has been designed for millennials and Gen Zs. The pipeline already includes a hotel in Xiamen and Langham Hospitality plans to expand the brand within the region.
Architects and interior designers Linehouse have worked on the first project, with Berlin-based artist Josephine Rais creating an outdoor mural. Emerging musicians will also be showcased at property level and via the brand’s social channels.
The Ying’nFlo app will allow users to check-in and out, control in-room technology such as the television, air conditioning and lighting, communicate with reception, and browse local points of interest. The app also transforms a users’ phone into a digital keycard.
Brett Butcher, CEO at Langham Hospitality Group, said: “Ying’nFlo is a bold colourful canvas for the younger urban travellers, at an affordable price. It’s a smart guest experience for a generation that has grown up with digital. The concept combines simple stylish design with brilliant basics which are efficiently executed with a strong social vibe.”
