Popular Kuwaiti breakfast and brunch spot Lazy Cat is set to bring its chilled vibes to Al Quoz Pond Park, Dubai later this year.
Since its pop-up beginnings in Kuwait back in 2019, Lazy Cat has grown to have branches in Kuwait’s Mouruj Complex and Gulf Road, as well as Laysen Valley in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Bringing the brand to the UAE for the first time is Gastronomica, an award-winning restaurant operator known for innovative F&B concepts across the Middle East.
Basil Al Salem, Founder of Gastronomica said: “We are excited to introduce Lazy Cat to Dubai. Our goal is to create a welcoming space that embodies the same relaxed and cosy atmosphere that has made Lazy Cat a favourite in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Spanning over 250sq m, our Dubai location will offer a delightful setting for guests to enjoy our signature breakfast and brunch offerings.”
The interior is designed to make guests feel instantly at home. Lush greenery adorns the space, creating a serene atmosphere, with décor made up of a mix of modern and vintage elements, with comfortable seating that encourages relaxation and conversation.
Lazy Cat’s menu celebrates both classic and contemporary breakfast and brunch fare, including bestsellers like Japanese pancakes, blue matcha, avocado folded bread and poached eggs, as well as artisanal pastries, with a special focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
