Legacy Entertainment Unveils Lotte World Adventure Opening Plans

The leading theme park and resort design company has confirmed the opening dates of the project, continuing its established relationship with the Korean leisure operator.

The firm, which is currently working on a series of major international projects, assisted with the park design, marking its ninth creative partnership with Lotte World. The 25-acre Lotte World Adventure Busan Theme Park in South Korea will host its soft opening period from 17-20 March, followed by an official opening for members of the public on 31 March 2022.

Legacy’s Managing Director for Korea, Yaeli Chung says: “For over thirty years, Lotte World has set the gold standard for family entertainment in South Korea. Our entire team feels very fortunate and humbled to help Lotte World write its next chapter in Busan.”

The first Lotte World park, found in Seoul, opened in 1989. The indoor attraction originally focussed on geography-based areas which strove to recreate the ambience of various countries such as the UK, France and Germany. The new park deviates from this formula with six immersive realms based on fantasy themes, namely Joyful Meadows, Rainbow Springs, Tinker Falls, Queen Lorry’s Royal Garden, Underland and Wonder Woods.
