The Bacha Coffee brand, founded in Marrakech in 1910, has debuted at The Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi, bringing to the UAE capital a boutique and takeaway concept – all within a single captivating space of 129sq m.
The Bacha Coffee Boutique presents an intriguing world of 100 per cent Arabica, where colourful walls lined with ochre-hued canisters illuminate from floor to ceiling. The aroma will take guests back to the Dar el Bacha palace in Marrakech, where the magical spell of the original Bacha Coffee location was first cast in 1910, the company said in a statement.
White and black chequered marbled floors against wooden-latticework counters and framed photographs capture the essence of a bygone era in Morocco.
It serves as a reminder of the heritage and legacy of the origins of Bacha Coffee – a time where coffees sourced from all over the world were presented to guests in a vibrant coffee room, enjoyed by the greatest cultural and political elites of the century.
“Bacha Coffee is the product of a rich legacy and a brand that has ripened since 1910, mastering the art of refined living where coffee takes centre stage,” said Taha Bouqdib, President & CEO of V3 Gourmet. “There is a great complementarity with our Abu Dhabi debut at The Galleria Mall, where guests can embark on a unique experience that seamlessly blends heritage with innovation while igniting their imaginations within a captivating space that transcends time and place.”
