St. Pancras International is proud to welcome French Patisserie Aux Merveilleux de Fred – founded by world-renowned pastry chef Frédéric Vaucamp – to its roster of exemplary brands in the station. As St. Pancras International signifies the start of your journey to France and other European destinations on the UK’s only rail connection to mainland Europe, Aux Merveilleux has found the perfect new London home.
Open now, Aux Merveilleux customers will be able to sample its iconic namesake meringue and cream cake: “The Merveilleux”. Frédéric Vaucamp, who began perfecting the art of pastry at just 14, reimagined the pastry making it extremely lightweight and reviving the popularity of classic. It’s available in different sizes and flavours in store in St. Pancras now.
All Aux Merveilleux de Fred products will be made on site, baked fresh throughout the day – a first for a St. Pancras offering. Alongside “The Merveilleux”, customers will also be able to treat themselves to famous soft brioches and traditional waffles.
The first shop “Aux Merveilleux de Fred” was founded in 1997 in Lille, and now has 53 branches world-wide.
