Leisure Quest, the Dubai-based operator behind Dubai’s TATEL restaurant has announced its first international opening.
Teaming up with MABEL Hospitality, the firms will focus on Spain, opening TATEL in Marbella. More plans are in the pipeline, with Europe firmly in the sights of the companies.
Founded in Madrid by Rafael Nadal, Cristiano Ronaldo and Manuel Campos, TATEL has expanded to Ibiza, Mexico City, Valencia and most recently Dubai. The venue in Marbella will be located at the Villa Tiberio on the Golden Mile, walking distance from Marbella Club and Puente Romano Resort.
In the past year, Marbella experienced a tourism surge, welcoming over five million visitors which has contributed to a record-breaking year for Andalusia, which saw 12.2 million international arrivals.
Karim Hajjali, CEO of Food Quest, said: “We are committed to building a long-term relationship with MABEL Hospitality, with this first international venue representing the start of many to come. Our collaboration will enable us to expand into Europe and other markets, enhancing our global presence while upholding our commitment to exceptional hospitality and introducing award-winning concepts to new markets.
“Marbella is an ideal opportunity and a natural step forward for the brand. The Golden Mile stands as a symbol of luxury and exclusivity, and Villa Tiberio, with its 35-year history and celebrity clientele, is iconic. TATEL reflects the same standard of opulence and elevated experience. Our goal is to establish a presence in multiple global destinations by 2026, cementing Leisure Quest as a leading name in lifestyle hospitality.”
