Levi’s Launches New ‘NextGen’ Store in California

The new concept store will offer features such as curbside pick-up, in-store personal shopping appointments and contactless returns.

Levi launched their NextGen stores in 2019 across Europe and Asia. The new concept store is intended to help the iconic denim retailer to reposition their stores into world-class omni-channel experiences.

Their latest NextGen Stoer is located in Palo Alto, California and will occupy a space of 2650sq ft. The store opening is a part of the company’s broader efforts to build a stronger direct to consumer retail business as wholesale continues to become less reliable. Although not designed as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, the new concept store is perfectly timed for a world shaped by Covid-19, customers are expecting more digital offerings and Levi’s have reacted at the correct time.

After the launch of the California store, Levi’s intends to open their next store in Texas, and another 100 stores are expected to launch across the US.
