Levi’s Opens Second Chance Stores

The move comes under the umbrella of Levi’s ‘Buy Better. Wear Longer.’ campaign, where customers can hand in their preloved items in return for vouchers.

Located in Hamburg, the new Levi’s store acts as a hub for customers to hand in their pre-loved and well-preserved clothing, in return for vouchers that they can either redeem directly or later in other participating stores.

The store will accept everything from classic denim pieces to t-shirts and dressed. Returned items are processed by Levi’s specialists and then sold on as second hand pieces. For every Levi’s items that is accepted into the Second Hand store, participants will receive a specified voucher amount which is €15 for jeans and dressed, €10 for shorts, skirts and blouses and up to €25 for jackets.

Alongside this, the brand donates the same amount to the Millerntor Gallery in Hamburg, there is a pre-existing and longstanding relationship between Levi’s and the organisation.
