The Japanese housing products manufacturer has launched a direct to consumer flagship store in Singapore.
Occupying an area of 6,000sq ft and located at 24 Mohd Sultan Road, the showroom offers multiple smart technologies including virtual reality for interior design planning, touchless faucets and flushing systems. The store will house products from Grohe and American Standard, with plans to later include Inax, a Japanese brand that manufactures artistic ceramic tiles and innovative sanitary ware.
The launch of the new DTC store comes at a time where consumers continue to have concerns around sanitation and hygiene due to the Covid-19 pandemic and therefore the launch of the store is expected to gather great momentum.
Satoshi Konagai, Leader at Lixil Water Technology Asia Pacific, commented: “Singapore’s recent commitment on sustainability and its exemplary handling of the pandemic showcases a rising awareness on these global issues. We believe there is a growing demand for solutions to address them.”
