The recently-opened store offers men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections alongside accessories, art, crafts and furniture.
Located at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, the new 1,500sq ft store boasts a distinctive design which incorporates LOEWE’s longstanding commitment to craft. For the first time across their portfolio, the new LOEWE store features lebrillos, or traditional Spanish ceramic bowls embedded into the concrete façade and inside.
The interior is colourful and features an easy to navigate open plan space with clear podiums that showcase light bulbs, shells, ceramics and other unique items. The walls adorn handmade tiles from Mallorca and Valencia which contrast against the concrete façade and floors.
The furniture within the store includes a specially commissioned burnt oak bench created by Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsley, finalists in the 2019 Loewe Foundation Craft Prize finalists along with modern Utrecht armchairs created by Dutch architect and designer, Gerrit Rietveld.
