Lotte Department Store, the major department-store chain operators in South Korea are to introduce a do-not-disturb shopping service it dubs ‘shop-alone’.
The new service is aimed at customers who do not wish to be approached by sales clerks and other employees, which proves annoying for many consumers, the move has been inspired by the Covid-19 crisis and the social-distancing practices.
