The company has announced that it will be opening a pop-up store showcasing a variety of merchandise from the National Museum of Korea.
The pop-up store will be located in one of the basement levels of the department store’s Myeongdong branch. It will offer approximately 200 different kinds of merchandise for sale until 4 June. Among the items available for purchase will be a miniature statue of Maitreya in meditation, which gained popularity after BTS member RM was seen with one.
Additionally, the store will feature the museum’s well-received exhibition program, A Room of Quiet Contemplation. Furthermore, the cultural centre at the Myeongdong branch will host special lectures every Thursday on how to appreciate artefact exhibitions.
