The upcoming project by Lotte Group is set to be its largest project to date since it first entered the Vietnamese market 26 years ago.
The environmentally-friendly smart city complex and integrated smart logistic centre scheme is part of Lotte’s larger expansion plans to create, preserve and grow a foothold in Southeast Asia.
A ground-breaking ceremony for the project took place over the weekend and Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong Bin was present, commenting: “This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and South Korea, so the project will be the starting point for Lotte’s upcoming investment expansion activities in Vietnam.”
The new development will comprise of 680,000sq m of floor space, which will consist of many separate elements that will come together to form a unique whole. The site will be home to a shopping centre, cinema, offices, hotel, residences and apartments.
