Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi is today celebrating its grand opening, showcasing an array of diverse stores and hosting welcome activities in the vibrant Tay Ho area.
The new retail destination by South Korea’s Lotte Group is billed as one of the largest shopping malls in Vietnam, spanning nearly 354,000sq m. Joining other shopping centres in the Vietnamese capital such as Trang Tien Plaza, Lotte Center Hanoi and Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi soft-opened on 28 July, alongside L7 Hotels, marking the hospitality brand’s first overseas hotel.
In addition to a seven-storey retail space, Lotte Mall West Lake is home to Hanoi’s largest indoor aquarium, a sprawling mega supermarket, and a state-of-the-art cinema as envisioned by architect Gordon Benoy, who previously designed iconic shopping centres including Westfield London, Ion Orchard Singapore, and Iconsiam Bangkok.
The new mall’s tenants include fashion brands such as Moschino, Marimekko, Massimo Dutti, and beauty and fragrance labels including Shiseido, Diptyque, and Jo Malone London.
