Taiwan’s Louisa Coffee has opened its first location in Singapore, as the Taipei-based coffee chain looks to expand its network globally.
Located in Guoco Midtown, close to Singapore’s Bugis Junction shopping centre and commercial district, the new venue boasts 70 indoor and outdoor seats for locals to relax in, while enjoying the cafe’s food and beverage menu. The Singapore opening also serves as the coffee chain’s second international market, after entering Thailand in early 2019.
“This marks a significant breakthrough in the post-pandemic era, symbolising the resilience and expansion determination of our brand,” said Alex Lin, investor relations at Louisa Coffee. “We look forward to continuing to write brilliant chapters in Singapore and other international markets in the future.”
Founded in 2006, Louisa Coffee began franchising in early 2012 and currently operates 510 stores in its Taiwan market, as well as two stores in Thailand and now one in Singapore.
