The home improvement giant will open its first outlet store in Texas this year and is set to be located in Irving.
The Outlet, which is located at 3500 West Airport Freeway will take the place of a former Lowe’s that was closed down in 2019. The new Outlet will be dedicated to selling scratch-and-dent appliances at discounted prices along with a smaller selection of appliance accessories, including dryer vents and refrigerator filters.
A spokesman for the company, Pedro Chen commented that the store will “carry more than 1000 new, carefully inspected scratch-and-dent appliances, with manufacturers’ warranties.”
The first Lowe’s Outlet was opened in California in 2019 and offers customers microwaves, stoves and refrigerators among other items.
