The athletics brand will begin selling the recently acquired Mirror home gym in 18 stores across the US from this month.
Lululemon acquired in-home fitness platform Mirror earlier this year in an attempt to build a community whilst also enhancing its digital and interactive capabilities. The Mirror home gym offers customers the opportunity to completely personalise their workout by choosing from a selection of certified trainers from the country’s top fitness studios to provide motivation and live feedback.
Previously only available online, the implementation of Mirror into Lululemon stores will allow potential customers to see the product for themselves before purchasing it.
Lululemon has also commented that they will roll-out a number of new Mirror features including to option to activate Mirror’s built-in camera that will allow users to compete against other members during exercise challenges. These are anticipated to be available towards the end of the holiday season.
