M Core, a prominent commercial property and investment collective, has kicked off 2024 with a bold move – the acquisition of the esteemed Princes Square retail development nestled in the heart of Glasgow’s city center.
Situated prominently on Buchanan Street, Princes Square stands as a landmark in Glasgow’s dynamic city center, recognized widely as the United Kingdom’s premier retail hub outside of London.
The property, spanning 118,625 square feet and obtained for an undisclosed amount, showcases four independent retail units along Buchanan Street and an internal mall spanning five levels. Notable occupants include Levi’s, Michael Kors, Cos, Office, Sweaty Betty, and Everyman Cinema.
This strategic acquisition seamlessly aligns with M Core’s proactive strategy of securing pivotal properties in shopping parades, shopping centers, and retail parks across the nation. It closely follows the recent milestone acquisition of The Centre Livingston, a sprawling retail and leisure destination spanning one million square feet, by commercial property entities LCP and Evolve Estates, integral parts of the M Core portfolio.
LCP, a key component of M Core, has been entrusted with the management of Princes Square.
