The Australian candle and homeware company has opened its first ever store in the Sydney suburb or Surry Hills.
The new flagship store has been designed to mimic a real Parisian apartment and is inspired by the homes that were lived in by Maison Balzac’s founder, Elise Pioch Balzac. The new store hosts a Georges Braque print and antique piano sconces on the walls, a Faye Toogood armchair and a coffee table by the window. The store also houses a Memphis giraffe lamp sat over a saccharine pink resin cube.
The complete Maison Balzac range is available for purchase inside the Sydney store, including the brand’s perfumed candles, colourful glassware, oil burners, ceramics and marble items, which have all been inspired by Pioch Balzac’s childhood in the South of France.
In addition to the newly opened Maison Balzac store, and its online store, Maison Balzac products are available in Australia both in store and online at luxury Australian department store, David Jones as well as inside independent luxury boutique, Incu, and online at beauty e-commerce platform, Adore Beauty.
