The campaign will take place at City Centre Bahrain to raise and collect donations for the people of Beirut.
The initiative is actively encouraging shoppers and visitors to support their campaign by donating cash or via credit card donations. A donation box has been placed in front of gate 3 at City Centre Bahrain strategically to encourage people to donate.
Duaij Al Rumaihi, Senior Mall Manager at City Centre Bahrain commented on the initiative: “Majid Al Futtaim is committed to supporting the communities and markets in which it operates at the Ya Beirut campaign is a testament of us being a responsible corporate citizen and extending our support to those in need. The tragic events in Lebanon have deeply moved us and we understand that these are incredibly testing times for Lebanese people across the world.”
He continues “This donation initiative is our contribution to help rebuild the city and we are incredibly grateful for the support of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society is enabling us to take this forward.”
