The outdoor tourist attraction and walkway experience is now open on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Malahat Skywalk intends to immerse visitors in nature as they make their way along 600 metres of elevated walkway before ascending a circular ramp to the top of a spiral shaped tower. This tower is the first tower of its kind in British Columbia, and offers 360-degree views of islands, inlets, fjords, forests and mountains.

Those guests who are looking for a hit of adrenaline can walk on an adventure net that is suspended across the centre of the tower, or enjoy a thrilling ride down a 20 metre spiral slide.

Ken Bailey, General Manager of Malahat SkyWalk, commented: “As Canadians return to travel this summer, we are so excited to open our doors and welcome guests. We hope locals and visitors alike include Malahat SkyWalk in their summer travel plans and find a sense of pride in what we’ve created, bringing their family and friends to visit this world-class tourism experience in their own backyard for years to come.”
