Manchester Arndale Expands its Thriving Food Scene

The shopping destination has announced Doner Shack and Gloria Jean’s as the newest food and beverage signings at the centre, with Pizza Luxe also preparing to open.

Halle Place, the centre’s fast-growing food hub, will welcome Doner Shack. It is already home to Archie’s, Barburitto and Wolf Street Food –  which have proved to be hugely popular with the centre’s customers.  Doner Shack will sell a mix of authentic kebabs using different ingredients – including halloumi, falafel, and chilli. Pizza Luxe is also preparing to open at Halle Place and will serve freshly made deluxe pizzas and breakfast bowls.

Meanwhile, Gloria Jean’s, which opened its very first store in a small town outside of Chicago in 1979, is the perfect destination for customers to relax and enjoy a menu of high-quality coffee and beverages.

Scott Linard, Portfolio Director at M&G Real Estate, comments:“Halle Place is establishing itself as one of Manchester’s most popular casual dining destinations. Archie’s, Barburitto and Wolf Street Food already offer something unique, which is clearly attractive to our customers. The arrival of Doner Shack and Pizza Luxe will only add to the distinctive appeal of Halle Place to visitors.

Being able to welcome a trio of new food and beverage operators is a testament to Manchester Arndale’s position as one of the leading shopping centres in the UK. The centre has remained robust and resilient during 2020 and we are confident we will continue to add to our strong F&B offering throughout 2021 and beyond.”
