Apparel and accessories brand Mango has opened its largest store in India to date in Mumbai’s Santacruz West district. The new outlet measures 10,000sq ft and is situated in the recently opened Krishna Curve mall.
“We are pleased to announce the inauguration of India’s biggest flagship store of Mango at Krishna Curve Linking Road Santacruz, Mumbai,” wrote Krishna Curve’s owner Krishna United Group’s Director Sandeep Agrawal on Linkedin.
The new Mango store launched with its autumn/winter collection of party wear, work-appropriate separates, and minimalist everyday wear. The store houses the brand’s women’s collections as well as the ‘Mango Man’ line and children’s wear lines, India Retailing reported.
Mango retails in India through a master franchise agreement with Flipkart’s fashion arm Myntra which also sub-franchises Mango stores to other operators across India. Myntra retails Mango goods from an e-commerce website dedicated to the Indian market as well as on its own multi-brand platform.
Krishna Curve is a shopping centre that focuses on premium fashion and lifestyle brands, according to its Facebook page. The nine-storey building also features brands including Crossword, Fitness First, and Nature’s Basket among others.
