The Spanish fashion brand Mango, which currently has 24 US locations, plans to open a total of nearly 30 stores across the territory this year.
The retailer is strengthening its presence on the East Coast with store openings planned for the Washington, D.C. and Boston areas. Mango is aiming for the US to become one of its top three markets in terms of turnover by 2026 by increasing its brick-and mortar-presence, as well as driving online sales on its website and in marketplaces.
The company plans to open four stores across the D.C. metro area this year, starting with its store at Westfield Montgomery, Bethesda, Maryland, which opened on 14 April. Later this year, the company will open its doors in downtown Washington, D.C., as well as at Tysons Corner Center, Tysons, Virginia and at Pentagon City, Arlington, Virginia.
The retailer will also open three new locations across the greater Boston area, beginning with its store in the Natick Mall, Natick, Massachusetts, which is the largest mall in the Bay State, which opened on 22 April. Two additional stores will open in the Boston area in 2024.
