The newly established hospitality group focusing on QSR, premium casual dining and dark kitchen F&B concepts, is taking over operations for all 41 Popeyes restaurants in the UAE.
Since launching in 2021, Maristo has led the operations for 28 Popeyes restaurants before recently acquiring the last 12 and launching an outpost in Al Ain, taking the total number to 41 restaurants.
Caterer Middle East was the first to talk to Maristo Hospitality CEO, Gaurav Arora about the complete operational takeover. He said: “When we formed the company just over a year ago, we had the opportunity to take over 28 Popeyes stores in Abu Dhabi from the franchisee at the time. And just last month, we took over operations at the remaining 12 stores, plus launching the outpost in Al Ain. Now we operate all 41 Popeyes stores in the UAE. We have been working on this for almost a year and a half. We plan to expand the brand to take it up to 100 restaurants in the next five years. As we grow the business, bringing the franchise under one operational arm to maintain the quality and service was a strategic step.”
