British fashion and lifestyle retailer Marks & Spencer opened two new stores at the end of July to booster its brick-and-mortar presence in India. The business opened one store in CP67 Mall and one in Ranchi’s Mall of Ranchi.
The new Marks & Spencer store in CP67 Mall opened on 30 July, the mall announced on Facebook. The outlet retails a range of men’s and women’s fashion and accessories as well as homeware, personal care goods, and gift items among other products. The store is Marks & Spencer’s second store to date in the city, the business announced on Linkedin.
“Calling all shopaholics in Ranchi,” wrote Marks and Spencer Reliance India Private Limited on Linkedin. “Our brand-new store is now open in a brand-new city at Mall of Ranchi, and we can’t wait to welcome you. Get ready to indulge in a shopping spree like never before.”
On 29 July, Marks & Spencer opened a store in the newly inaugurated Mall of Ranchi, the mall announced on Facebook. As its first store in Ranchi, the outlet will enable the city’s shoppers to browse Marks & Spencer products in person.
Marks & Spencer has opened a number of brick-and-mortar stores in India this year including in Ahmedabad and Lucknow. The business now counts over 90 stores in the country which it runs in partnership with Reliance Retail.
