The iconic brand has transformed over 50 of its closed in-store cafés into Easter pop-up shops to drive footfall.
As lockdown across the UK continues to impact celebrations, brands are continually adapting to meet the new needs of consumers and providing solutions to missed family occasions. The new Easter pop-up shops in selected M&S stores will see the full range of Easter eggs and products. Overall, the brand has confirmed that Easter confectionary sales are up by 63 per cent on last year.
Alongside the pop-up stores, M&S has launched its biggest ever online selection of Easter Eggs and hampers, including its expanded range of plant based Easter treats.
April Preston, M&S Product Development Director, commented: “Over the last year, we have seen customers making more of events than ever before as they seek out little moments of joy for them and their loved ones to break-up the challenges of lockdown. With this in mind, we want to make our ranges as accessible as possible – by making clever use of our closed café space and expanding our online offer to help customers deliver direct to love ones too.”
