Chinese e-commerce giant JD has partnered with global fashion retailer Inditex to launch a flagship store for fashion brand Massimo Dutti.
The digital store will bring an exclusive 1,000-product collection, including men’s and women’s wear, accessories and specially curated items.
Xiangying Kong, VP of JD.com and Head of JD Fashion, said the collaboration aims to establish the company as a platform for international brands and meet the growing demand for high-end goods in China.
“Our partnership with Inditex highlights our commitment to bringing premium quality products to our customers,” Kong continued. “We look forward to exploring new ways to engage and interact with our users.”
JD added that Massimo Dutti will be highlighted in its 618 Grand Promotion, China’s largest mid-year shopping festival, where customers can avail themselves of member benefits and services.
Eugenio Bregolat Lukashov, President, Inditex Greater China, said the move aims to expand the company’s digital footprint in China. “As a leading e-commerce platform in China, JD.com is a solid partner for us to continue to build an integrated experience for our customers,” Bregolat concluded.
