The brand has opened a total of three new superstores across the Midwest.

Each of the new stores, which average a space of 155,000sq ft are located in Seven Hills and Boardman, Ohio and Westfield, Indiana. The locations integrate a number of digital shopping options that have proved popular with Meijer shoppers over the past 12 months. These include Shop & Scan, which allows customers to scan barcodes via a mobile app and bag their items as they shop.

“These new stores reinforce our ongoing commitment to serving the needs of communities at a time when everyone is looking for a one-stop shopping experience,” said Rick Keyes,  President and CEO, Meijer, which operates more than 255 locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin.

“We look forward to providing a customer-focused store that offers fresh options and innovation to help reshape how customers shop for the groceries and items they need while keeping their families safe.”
