The Director of Culinary at Mine & Yours Group, Chef Vito Mollica, will launch a fine dining version of the Chic Nonna restaurant inside Palazzo Portinari Salviati, scheduled for March 2022.
Chic Nonna di Vito Mollica will open inside Palazzo Portinari Salviati. An iconic building for the history of Florence and Italy, birthplace of Beatrice Portinari, the muse who inspired the Italian poet Dante Alighieri, and later the residence of Cosimo I of Tuscany, whose statue is still placed in the center of the Palazzo courtyard.
Chic Nonna di Vito Mollica will feature a gastronomic restaurant inside Corte degli Imperatori, with frescoes dating back to the fifteenth century, depicting Homer’s Odyssey attributed to Alessandro Allori, and a Lounge Bar & Bistrot, with different menus inspired by the Tuscan and Italian culinary tradition.
