China-based value retailer Miniso is expanding its footprint at 13 malls across the country. CBL Properties has partnered with Miniso to open stores in 12 new US markets.
The first wave of store openings started in November 2023 at Valley View Mall in Roanoke, Virginia and Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, followed by the January 2024 opening at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Shoppers at the new locations will find Miniso’s signature mix of pop-influenced toys, gadgets and household items. In December, Miniso celebrated the opening of its 100th US store at Florida Mall in Orlando. The brand grew its presence during 2023 to include stores in more than 10 states, for a total of 20 states nationwide.
