The Walmart-owned outdoor gear and apparel retailer is opening a physical store in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The brand has chosen Bentonville to call home to the store as it has become one of the top mountain biking destinations in US. The brand carries over 500 outdoor brands like Rocky Mountain, The North Face, Fjallraven and Columbia. It also offers gear for activities such as climbing, hiking, camping, snow sports, yoga, water sport and biking.
Eoin Comerford, Moosejaw CEO, commented: “We were particularly attracted to downtown due to the proximity to the trail and ongoing revitalisation and investment in pedestrian malls, hotels and more. Our backpacking and snow sports assortment will also fill gaps in the local market. The Ozarks are right in our backyard and world class skiing is a two-hour flight away.”
Once opened, the Moosejaw store will offer shoppers curbside pickup and orders by phone. Appointments are also available for bike turning services such as tube change, cable installs and brake adjustments.
