Motor City Prepares to Welcome New ‘Neighbourhood Food Hall’

Located on the site of an old Spinney’s supermarket in Motor City, Neighbourhood Food Hall will boast 12 homegrown concepts, including High Joint and 1762, plus a range of other foodie options.

Neighbourhood Food Hall will bring together 12 homegrown concepts, all at wallet-friendly prices, under one-roof. Its design of bright lighting and simple industrial-style design are bound to make the dining concept a cool place to try out delicious foods with friends and an unpretentious vibes.

Offering everything from coffee and cake to burgers, tacos, hotdogs and pizza to Japanese Udon and fragrant Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian and Korean food, there is a dish for everyone at the foot hall. Each concept has been carefully selected by owner Nicky Ramchandani who is best known for being the founder of Streetery, JLT’ popular Asian food hall.

The food outlets that are signed up for the new dining hall concept include: Bakery & More by 1762, serving up authentic artisanal bread and pastries; Climbing Goat Roastery, where guests can get speciality coffee; Dough Pizza for oven-fired pizza; Authentic Ceylon, serving authentic Sri Lankan food; Meatish which dishes up traditional Indian favourites with a modern BBQ twist; Zen by Streetery, serving delicious Asian street food; High Joint with a menu of award-winning burgers; Sausage Fabrique serving artisanal, handcrafted sausages; Shiok with Singaporean hawker-style favourites; Tacos Les Hermanos, serving up Mexican tacos, burritos and tamales; Nampo by Shogun Korean, where guests can enjoy authentic Korean street food and Maru Udon which serves fresh, Japanese udon noodles.
