Accor, the world-leading hospitality group, has opened its first Mövenpick hotel in Croatia as it invites travellers from all over the world to discover the capital city of Zagreb.
The hotel is located in the modern business zone of New Zagreb and is a result of a successful collaboration between Accor Group and MPPD Company, which will also open the Mövenpick Split in 2024.
The newly opened hotel impresses with its modern architecture and thoughtful design inspired by iconic, world-renowned inventors, most notably Nikola Tesla. The property offers 104 smart rooms and suites. Each of the rooms provides a personalized guest experience, named after a different city from Europe and around the world. Every room is decorated with a tailor-made map of the city it is named after, thus initiating a journey around the globe for the future return guests.
“Opening the first Mövenpick hotel in Croatia is a great privilege and a huge milestone for local hospitality and tourism industry. We are happy to introduce the finest level of guest service in a truly premium environment. We invite guests from all over the world to discover a unique hotel, where everything is taken care of to prepare an unforgettable stay. Furthermore, continuing the Mövenpick brand long-standing commitment, Mövenpick Zagreb embraces an eco-friendly mindset and holistic approach to sustainability; it is the first hotel on the Zagreb market to implement premium bathroom cosmetics with plant-based ingredients and organic grade extracts in refillable dispensers, thus limiting single-use guest-facing plastic use. In addition, we offer numerous charging stations for electric vehicles and are in the process of implementing a paperless guest information solution. I am confident, our new hotel will win the hearts of every guest, from the international travellers to the local community,” says Mincho Pachikov, General Manager of Mövenpick Zagreb.
