Neapolitan Pizzeria Chef Adds New Location

Founder and Neapolitan pizza Chef Andrea Ascuiti has opened his second site for 081 Pizzeria in Fitzrovia this October as he rolls out expansion plans across the capital.

The popular pizzeria opened last summer amidst the Covid-19 pandemic with its debut site at Peckham Levels, South London’s social and cultural hub. After a successful 18 months, Founder Andrea, who was also one of the founding members of Streatham’s well-loved pizzeria Bravi Ragazzi, has successfully delivered a new-age pizza brand that has attracted thousands of customers from across the capital.

081 Pizzeria is taking residency at The Smugglers Tavern from 8th October; a classic gastro pub in the heart of Fitzrovia, just a short distance from London’s famous West End. Founder and pizza connoisseur Andrea Ascuiti has pioneered a fresh and modern approach to traditional Neapolitan pizza with an urban and artistic spin on the cuisine. Whilst communal dining is available at 081’s site in Peckham Levels, the new location will have its own designated seating and guests will be able to book their table in advance of busy weekday evenings and weekends. The intimate, cosy space found upstairs in the venue has up to 40 covers, and guests can either opt for a range of craft beers and spirits served by The Smugglers Tavern team or a Naples-inspired dining experience upstairs.
