Westfield Old Orchard is now ready for summer with new activations, outdoor seating at select restaurants and new store and restaurant openings.
The Stokie, Illinois centre, which is slated to soon undergo a multi-phase, mixed-use redevelopment project, has announced a line-up of upcoming events for its visitors to enjoy throughout the summer months.
“Our open-air centre is a prime spot to bring the entire family together this summer,” said Westfield Old Orchard General Manager Maegen Akers. “We are thrilled to debut a variety of events to the centre this summer and welcome guests of all ages to check out our retailers, dine in our incredible restaurants and stay for the festivities.”
New tenants have also arrived just in time for summer. Recently, Westfield Old Orchard welcomed the newest flagship location of fashion retailer Zara, the opening of Rick Bayless’s latest concept, Tortazo and is preparing to open high-end furniture retailer Arhaus in early June.
Mall guests can also now enjoy outdoor dining, specials and live music at popular spots including Roka Akor, Bar Siena, Uncle Julio’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Shake Shack, The Hampton Social and more. Operated by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Westfield Old Orchard’s roster includes more than 150 retailers, dining options and event spaces.
