New and ‘safe’ convenience store opens in Turin

Pam Panorama has opened a new store in Turin which is in-line with the highest and strictest safety measures in order to protect its customers from the threat of Covid-19.

Throughout the store there is a high-tech ventilation system that ensures constant airflow, while an autonomous access and checkout management system allows for a faster shopping experience.

Meanwhile outside the store, an on-the-floor communication system reserves a lane for people with priority entrance.  Access is also managed by a number of electronic devices that limit the capacity of customers inside the store. The store’s assortment includes a variety of Food to Go solutions, as well as 200 everyday SKUs available as part of the retailer’s ‘Risparmio Sicuro’ (Guaranteed Saving) initiative. The new store has been built designed, engineered and built by CEAN, an Italian company that provides turnkey solutions to the retail industry and which has built over 15,000 stores.
