Apple will open a completely new and redesigned store at a new location in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi on February 3.
The much-loved brand has not provided further details beyond confirming that the new store will open at the beginning of February. Currently, barricades are set up around the location, the size of which has also not yet been confirmed.
More details will be announced closer to the opening date of the store, however Apple said in a statement: “The relocated Apple Yas Mall store will serve as an entirely reimagined destination for the community to discover Apple’s products and services, shop, and get support from knowledgeable team members.”
Apple currently has three stores in the UAE, with the Yas Mall store opening alongside Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates branch in 2015. A further store was opened at The Dubai Mall in 2017.
The world’s most valuable company, Apple has a current market capitalisation of around $2.69tn as of the close of trading on Thursday. The company is also one of just three to have breached the $2tn mark, alongside Microsfot and Saudi Aramco.
