The new range is from Your Good Health Co. and is a collection of consumable collagen called Your Beauty, and the collection has secured its first listing in nationwide beauty and health provider, Superdrug.
With the rising cost of living, the company recognised that consumers are struggling to keep up with expensive beauty and health routines as supplements are often seen as inessential or out-of-reach – something which the company wants to turn on its head.
Ross Carlin, Founder of Your Good Health Co. said: “The brand is designed to target five key health pillars, these are: exercise, diet and hydration, mental health, sleep and confidence. We decided to firstly target ‘confidence’ with our Your Beauty range, after spotting the desired increase in appetite for a variety of affordable products that would change the way people perceive ‘expensive’ and aspirational wellness items such as collagen supplements and nutri-cosmetics. Making collagen a lifestyle choice is really important to us and there is certainly an education we need to impart, as after the age of 20 we lose one per cent of collagen in our skin every year, which means by the age of 45, we have lost 25% of skins’ collagen. This results in reduced skin elasticity, thinner skin and wrinkles. We’ve devised a range which is comprised of a 90-day plan, as this is the amount of time it takes for something to become an automatic habit in people’s lives, meaning collagen needs to be taken consistently for around three months to actually see the benefits.”
