Disney has revealed more about the Star Wars, Marvel and Frozen experiences setting sail on the Disney Wish in summer 2022.
The Disney Wish, which sets sail in summer 2022, will boast immersive environments inspired by Frozen, Toy Story, Aladdin, Cinderella, Marvel, Star Wars, Tangled and the Little Mermaid.
“Our guiding principles in designing the Disney Wish, it had to be uniquely Disney,” said Pam Rawlins, Executive Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI). We had to pull from a rich storytelling,” added Rawlins. “We had to be very family friendly and create experiences to immerse our guests into the worlds of Disney.”
The Disney Wish will also boast a Star Wars bar called Hyperspace Lounge. Danny Handke, Senior Creative Director at WDI, said it’s a “place where adults unwind, relax and immerse themselves in the world of Star Wars.” “We have another space called Fairytale Hall,” added Handke. “We get to go into Belle’s library. We have Rapunzel’s art studio where you could do some really cool craft activities. Guests will get to experience many different characters in Marvel Superhero Academy. Kids can not only train, they can meet a Marvel friend. There’s always some character to meet and some sort of story to experience.”
