The American brand New Era, with caps as the star product in its catalogue, is taking a step forward in the Spanish market with the opening of its first single-brand store in the country.
Located at number 15 on Gran Vía in Madrid, it has a surface area of 160sq m and is a gateway to the brand’s universe.
The store, which opened just a few weeks before the start of the Black Friday and Christmas campaign, has two floors, where it presents the collections of caps and clothing from its main licenses (from the NBA to the Kings League or the NFL, National Football League) and where it also has an area for personalising items.
New Era, which is sold in Spain through 300 multi-brand points of sale, is strengthening its retail plan in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) with this opening and plans to open new stores in 2025, in locations yet to be determined. For its development in the Spanish market, it has as a local partner Experience Group, a company specialised in offline expansion that also supports American Columbia in its physical development in the country.
