New Joint Store Unveiled in Lima

The Peruvian designer Sophia Lerner and knitwear label Fringe Mod have opened a joint store in the Miraflores district of Lima.

The house, located at 770A General Borgoño Street in Miraflores, has three floors. On the first floor is Sophia Lerner’s store, which also houses guest brands; the second floor is the Peruvian designer’s tailoring workshop, and the third floor is the ideal setting to present the latest collections by Sophia Lerner and Fringe Mod in their respective showrooms.

With a privileged view of one of the most important archaeological sites in Peru, the place radiates a special energy and a deep respect for history. “We want the visit to the Borgoño 770A house to be a complete experience, where art and fashion can be enjoyed while relaxing with a drink, while discovering local brands with a strong DNA and artisanal processes,” says Lerner.

The Peruvian knitwear brand Fringe Mod is also part of this space, offering an exclusive area for its showroom on the third floor of the house at Borgoño 770A. There, visitors will be able to discover its latest collections in an environment that reflects the essence and ancestral tradition of the brand, specialising in unique pieces hand-woven with alpaca and Pima cotton.

“Ever since I first saw the house at General Borgoño, I was captivated by both the building and the area. I always knew that it had to be the home of our brand. It is a place with a special energy, surrounded by the imposing Huaca Pucllana and a vibrant gastronomic offer and a tourist destination in the city of Lima,” Sophia Lerner commented.
