Castle Social, the ‘market hall’ style streetfood and entertainment space at Castle Quarter in Norwich, has signed to new casual dining operators.
Giant Yorkie Roast Co and Gringos Nacho Factory are the two latest operators to open kiosks in Castle Social, joining the Pinker & Green bar within the space. Castle Social will be the first permanent kitchens for both operators.
Giant Yorkie Roast Co will be selling roast dinner style wraps filled with turkey, beef brisket, pulled pork and a range of vegetarian options with all the trimmings. Gringos Nacho Factory specialises in tex-mex dishes, including loaded nachos, burritos and tacos.
The new arrivals further strengthen the offer at Castle Quarter, which has repositioned towards innovative social, leisure and lifestyle operators while retaining its traditional retail strength. The pivot has brought major new brands to the destination – including ‘competitive socialising’ additions such as Boom Battle Bar and Escape Hunt – and expanding the range of options available to visitors.
Will Ashdown, Asset Manager at RivingtonHark, said: “Castle Social provides a unique space in Norwich, both for visitors to enjoy and street food operators to try out new concepts, something that is strengthened by the arrival of Giant Yorkie Roast Co and Gringos Nacho Factory. Our focus at Castle Quarter is on giving visitors a range of options to shop, eat, socialise and enjoy themselves, a strategy that is bringing greater numbers of people to the destination and demonstrating a new role for city centre schemes.”
