The Birdcage is a new rooftop lounge and bar that sits stop Pullman Downtown Hotel and boasts stunning panoramic views of the city skyline.
Set to open next week on Tuesday 16 August, The Birdcage is set to become the next great place to listen to a number of local and international DJs; drink specially curated cocktails and indulge in a menu of Asian and Latin American dishes.
Dishes on the menu includes delights such as chorizo gyoza, ceviches and tiraditos as well as a selection of grilled meats and seafood with Porter House steak and charcoal braised lamb ribs taking starring roles on the menu. Sweet treats include Ej Chaja (a Uruguay-inspired peach tart), burnt ube cheesecake and the chef’s selection fiesta platter.
Meanwhile, the cocktail menu will take guests on a journey through fictitious character, Jonathan Gold’s adventurous life in drinks, with concoctions such as 21 Years Young, Jazz and a lot of Saz, The Lady in Pink and An Old Cuban in an Airplane.
The bar’s interiors take inspiration from an ornate birdcage and features a large bar area decorated with cage-like designs.
