The food delivery platform will launch in Quarter 1 of 2021 in Dubai and intends to offer fairer commissions for brands.
The Noon Food delivery platform was revealed by Noon Founder Mohamed Alabbar last year and now, further details have finally been announced. Intending to take on other food platforms that force restaurants and food concepts into exclusivity and offer unfair commissions, Noon Food aims to offer three main benefits to restaurants. These benefits include a guarantee on the lowest fees, high order volume and reliable delivery experiences.
Noon Food’s fee structure will charge just 5 per cent on orders for exclusive platform partners and 10 per cent for non-exclusive and Noon’s 6.5 million customers practically guarantee a high order volume.
Dubai will be the first country to welcome Noon Food, whilst Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will get access to the platform in Quarter 2 and Riyadh and Jeddah will get the platform later in the year. It has also been reported that there is a planned launch for Egypt in 2022.
